Digestive issues are uncomfortable and can disrupt your everyday activities. From rushing to find the nearest bathroom to severe bloating and distension making it difficult to breathe.

Gut related conditions include:

  • Coeliac Disease

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) - intolerance to FODMAPS: eg. onion, garlic, fructose, wheat

  • Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s disease)

  • Diverticulitis

  • Bloating

  • Reflux, Heartburn, Indigestion

  • Constipation, Diarrhoea

  • Abdominal Pain

  • Food Intolerances

Chronic digestive problems can be due to many different factors.

A common cause is inadequate stomach acid as a result of nutrient deficiencies. Leading to bloating, gas, indigestion and even overgrowth of intestinal bacteria (Dysbiosis within large intestines or Small Intestinal bacterial Overgrowth- SIBO). You then experience diarrhoea, chronic constipation or both!

I don't recommend following restrictive diets long term such as the low FODMAP diet (no longer than 6 weeks!).

In our consultation we look at blood tests, your dietary intake, and may order additional gut testing for answers; to create a diet and lifestyle protocol addressing the real cause of your symptoms.
